Exeter Hall Kidlington
Bob was involved in a roadside operation that involved TVP, CC Road Safety Team, and the Crew from A6 Kidlington with their Station Manager.
The operation was to pull in people not wearing a seatbelt, to issue them a ticket.........if they decided to come into Exeter Hall the ticket was ripped up and it was up to the crew to educate them in their choices and possible tragic consequences in not wearing their seatbelt, Bob was astonished that 33 people were caught in the first hour. Unbelievable!!

I don't think we should be taking part in enforcement activities?
I feel that we should leave due process of law to the legal enforcement agencies - in road safety matters that is not us!
I have worked for the emergency services for 23 years of my working life. What we need is more Police Officers (especially in the optimistically named Roads Policing Unit, formally Traffic).
